DENR keeps Pamitinan protected area in Rizal closed over safety risks

LUCENA CITY — The Pamitinan Protected Landscape (PPL) in Montalban, Rizal remains temporarily closed to visitors as authorities conduct cleanup, repairs and safety assessments. This site is a popular destination for rock climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. The closure comes following the discovery of cracks at its summit.  The Department of Environment and Natural Resources in
