Dengue hospitalisations hit record high with 726 cases in 24 hours

Cases cross 20,000 16 MIN(s) UPDATED 16 MIN(s) Star Online Report Visual: Shaikh Sultana Jahan Badhon At least 726 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00am today, marking the highest number of single-day hospitalisations recorded so far.With the latest cases, the total number of dengue infections has risen to 20,071, while the death toll from dengue stands at 61, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).Currently, 1,443 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals across the country.
