Delta launches ‘cheaper’ first-class fares – here’s what flyers can expect
First class is so basic now. This week, Delta Airlines made what it’s calling an “industry-standard” change by making premium seating more affordable. It’s about time. The airline rolled out its “Basic fares” for first class and business class — which is basically like an economy seat with a few extra perks that typically only Delta First, Delta Premium Select and Delta One get to experience. You’ll have to pay, of course, but it could possibly save you around $200, according to the airline’s announcement.
