Delegate system skews power towards wealthy political aspirants – Prof H.K Prempeh

Executive Director of the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), Prof. Henry Kwasi Prempeh, has renewed calls for Ghana's political parties to adopt open primaries, arguing that allowing all registered party members to participate in the selection of national candidates would strengthen internal democracy and reduce the influence of money in politics.
