Data indicates that Portuguese people are travelling more

Travel by residents in Portugal increased by 7.0% in the first quarter, year-on-year, registering a historical high for this period of the year, mainly driven by a 30.0% increase in trips abroad, reported the INE (National Institute of Statistics).
