Dassault Systèmes Q2 revenue rises to $1.78 billion
July 23 : French software maker Dassault Systèmes reported higher second-quarter revenue of 1.56 billion euros ($1.78 billion) on Thursday, as demand for its 3DEXPERIENCE software helped offset weakness in automotive. The company, which provides 3D design, simulation and product lifecycle management software to automakers, plane manufacturers, industrial firms and drugmakers, said total revenue rose 4 per cent on a constant-currency basis in the quarter.Dassault confirmed its full-year outlook.Cloud software revenue also rose 14 per cent, while annual run rate, a metric Dassault uses to track recurring contract value, reached 4.44 billion euros, up 6 per cent year-on-year.Dassault also said it would acquire ArisGlobal, a life sciences software company focused on safety and regulatory intel
