The victim, in his 50s, suffered serious injuries when a jet ski collided with the inflatable at Calshot near the New Forest National Park around 6pm on Sunday. Coastguards rushed to the water after reports the man was struggling in the sea. He passed away in hospital on Monday. The jet-ski rider and the two children were safely brought ashore, while the man on the inflatable needed urgent medical treatment.
