Cyberabad Municipal Corporation considers dedicated grievance mechanism for SC/ST communities

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) is considering setting up a dedicated mechanism to address grievances of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities, as part of a series of welfare and development measures reviewed by the civic body on Wednesday.The proposal was discussed during a meeting with Telangana State Commission for SCs and STs Chairman Bakki Venkataiah, CMC Commissioner G. Srijana, zonal commissioners, heads of departments and other officials concerned.Among the issues discussed was the development of SC/ST colonies through focused sub-plans, including the provision of basic amenities.
