Cubs stagger into White Sox series after losing Dansby Swanson and seeing Edward Cabrera get rocked

The Cubs came into this weekend’s series with the Cardinals as one of the hottest teams in baseball. They had won nine of their last 12 and were beginning to creep up on the division-leading Brewers.
