CSN’s Loss Widens to US$143 Million as Cheap Chinese Steel and Debt Bite

CSN slid to a Q2 2026 net loss of R$773 million (about US$143 million), nearly six times worse than a year earlier. The steel business still made money, but a flood of cheap Chinese imports and a heavy debt load pushed the result into the red.
