Crimea Installs Landline Payphones as Mobile Blackouts Persist

Russian occupation authorities in Crimea have begun installing public payphones after scheduled mobile network shutoffs and Ukrainian strikes left residents without communication. The devices reportedly work even without electricity and connect free of charge to emergency services.
