CPI seeks comprehensive probe into tribal student’s death
The Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary G. Eswaraiah on Monday demanded a comprehensive investigation into the death of 15-year-old tribal student Murram Shivani and urged the Andhra Pradesh government to ascertain the circumstances that led to her alleged suicide.In a statement, Mr. Eswaraiah said the death of the Class X student from Irlapalli Kotha Colony in Rampachodavaram mandal had raised several unanswered questions and called for a transparent inquiry to establish the facts behind the incident.Recalling Shivani’s participation in the Mega Parent-Teacher Association meeting held in Rampachodavaram in the presence of Chief Minister N.
