Couple killed, three injured as car overturns in Rajanna Sircilla district

A family’s journey to a pre-wedding ceremony turned tragic when a car carrying five members overturned at Lingampeta village in Chandurthi mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district on Saturday night, killing a couple.The deceased, Mohd. Sadullah, 47, and his wife Haseena, 44, were residents of Rudrangi mandal headquarters. They were travelling with three other family members to Chandurthi to attend a pre-wedding ceremony at a relative’s house when tragedy struck.According to the police, the car overturned on the outskirts of Lingampeta after Sadullah, who was behind the wheel, lost control of the vehicle.
