Complaint lodged against BJP leader Nainar Nagenthran for defamatory remarks against Tamil Nadu CM Vijay’s mother

An advocate lodged a complaint with the Tamil Nadu DGP against BJP leader Nainar Nagenthran, alleging that he made derogatory and defamatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and his mother during a public event at Kamalalayam, the BJP’s party office in Chennai.The advocate, Vardhini, said that political criticism should not cross boundaries to demean women or family members.She also sought the police to preserve digital evidence, investigate the remarks under relevant legal provisions, and initiate appropriate criminal proceedings for defamation and public misconduct.
