Commodity vessel transits through Hormuz Strait drop to three-month low Only one commodity vessel reportedly transited the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, preliminary Kpler shipping data showed on Tuesday. A large gas carrier entered the strategic waterway from the Gulf of Oman on Monday, making it the lowest number of vessels to pass through the strait since 7 May.  Due to ships switching off their transponders on their way through the waterway, these initial figures could change.
