Commercial LPG prices raised by Rs 2 for every 5kg cylinder; ATF rates also hiked

5-kg cylinder refill is now costlier by Rs 2The prices of commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders have reprotedly been increased from Tuesday, September 1, marking a rise after two previous months' price cut.The price of 5-kg commercial LPG cylinders has been raised by Rs 2 to Rs 764 from Rs 762, a 0.26 per cent increase, as per IOCL sources cited by ANI.The increase is likely to add to operating costs for businesses such as restaurants, hotels, catering services and other commercial establishments that rely heavily on LPG.Meanwhile Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices for domestic airlines have also gone up by Rs 6.28 per litre to Rs 121.28 from Rs 115.The latest revision comes after commercial LPG prices were reduced in both July and August.
