Colombiamoda 2026 Leaves Medellin More Than US$22 Million

The 37th edition of Colombiamoda left Medellin with an economic spillover of more than US$22 million, a record for the city, even as the number of exhibiting brands, specialised buyers and international attendees all declined year on year. The fair unfolded against a backdrop of falling national fashion exports and a new US tariff that has put Colombian apparel at a competitive disadvantage.
