Club Brugge close to completing Freddie Potts signing from West Ham

Club Brugge are close to completing the signing of West Ham United midfielder Freddie Potts.Potts, 22, made 26 first team appearances last season, including 12 starts in the Premier League. His minutes during the second half of the campaign were more limited, however, and he featured just once from the bench during West Ham’s final five top-flight matches as the club were relegated to the Championship.The West Ham academy product is now nearing a move to Belgium, with an announcement expected in the coming days.His contract at West Ham was due to run until 2029, with the option of a further year, having last signed fresh terms in March 2025.
