Class VIII student dies after being administered injection by RMP in Khammam district

A class VIII student of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) at Konijerla died after allegedly being administered an injection by a rural medical practitioner (RMP) for fever at Baswapuram in Khammam district on Sunday.The deceased was identified as Hemasri, a resident of Baswapuram.According to sources, Hemasri fell ill after returning home from Bonalu celebrations in the village on Sunday evening. Her parents took her to a local RMP, identified as Sampath, for treatment.
