Chinese Refineries Turn to Russian, Iranian Crude Due to Choked Supplies

Private Chinese refiners are reportedly buying crude from Russia’s Far East and resumed talks with Iran for Iranian crude over supply uncertainty due to renewed fighting in the Middle East. Though Kyiv’s drone strikes dealt a heavy blow to Russia’s oil infrastructure, earlier reports suggest that Russia’s overall fossil fuel exports still made a net profit in May.
