China’s Zijin Took 9.2% of the Miner Building Ethiopia’s Kurmuk

After a US$4 billion takeover fell apart, Zijin took a minority stake instead. The workaround puts Chinese and Emirati capital next to Ethiopia’s border with Sudan.
