Chicago woman hospitalized after Wendy’s ‘bacteria-tainted’ double cheseburger: lawsuit

Chicago resident Roxy Ellis Douglas, 68, has filed a federal lawsuit against Wendy's after ordering a meal that was delivered to her home by Doordash in a sealed bag, but made her ill with Campylobacter and other bacteria, costing nearly $100,000 in medical care.
