Chicago Park District to keep 20 pools open through Labor Day

The Chicago Park District is extending some of its end-of-summer aquatics programs through Labor Day weekend, keeping 20 community pools, 23 beaches and over 200 water play features open. The expanded schedule means beaches and some pools will be open though Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7.
