CCB arrests absconding rowdy-sheeter

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have arrested a 33-year-old rowdy-sheeter who had been absconding for six years in connection with an attempted murder case and had a non-bailable warrant pending against him.The accused, identified as Divakar Raj Urs, a rowdy-sheeter in the Girinagar area, was arrested near the Raghavendra Swamy Temple in Papareddypalya near Annapoorneshwari Nagar. The accused had been evading court proceedings in the attempt to murder case registered at the Magadi Road Police Station for the past six years.The police said 12 serious criminal cases have been registered against him across various police stations.
