Jothi Ramalingam A special team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday (August 15, 2026) visited the spot where the then Bahujan Samaj Party’s Tamil Nadu president K. Armstrong was murdered. After re-registering the case following the orders of the Madras High Court, investigators of the Special Task Branch visited the scene of crime in Venugopal Samy Street in Perambur, police sources said. Armstrong was hacked to death by a gang near his residence in Chennai on July 5, 2024. The case initially investigated and chargesheeted by the Greater Chennai Police was transferred to the central agency by the Madras High Court on
