Castro: Heavy rains gave much-needed relief to irrigation, agri sectors

MANILA, Philippines — The heavy rains on Monday provided much-needed relief to the irrigation and agriculture sectors, according to Palace Press Officer Claire Castro. While the recent rains may have caused difficulties to some communities, Castro said they have also benefited the country’s farmers. Citing information from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), she said the water
