In light of the reported delays in issuing caste certificates, the government is looking at possibilities of extending the last dates to apply in the recruitment notifications issued.Informing the Legislative Council that the State government would simplify the process to secure caste certificates, Minister for Medical Education Sharan Prakash Patil said on Thursday that the possibility of extending dates would be examined.
