Case filed over Barishal bomb blast that injured three of a family

A case has been filed over the bomb explosion in Barishal’s Bakerganj upazila that injured three members of a family, accusing unidentified individuals of attempted murder and causing the blast.Bakerganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Adil Hossain said Jamal Hawlader filed the case early today on behalf of the victims’ family against unnamed suspects.Investigating Officer Nur Mohammad said police were investigating the incident very seriously as he termed it “the first bomb attack of this kind in Bakerganj”.Jamal said his mother Hanufa Begum, sister Iti Hawlader and nephew Fahim are undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
