‘Caribbean’-like humidity and extreme heat to suffocate NYC for several days

"Humidity today was about as high as it ever gets around here. It was very tropical. The humidity levels were similar to what we see in the Caribbean," Senior AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson told The Post.
