The zoological garden located near Colwyn Bay "with immense sadness" announced the death of resident capybara, Mango.Zookeepers are working to find out the cause of death of the mammal after only being at the zoo for a short period. On May 1 the zoo announced the arrival of its first capybara, holding a fundraising campaign to name him before deciding on the name Mango.Capybara are highly social animals that usually live in herd of up to 20 animals.
