Presiding over the matter, Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya asked the police not to take any steps against Banerjee in connection with the criminal prosecutions at the Bhabanipur police station (May 27), Kalitala police station (June 1), and Bishnupur police station (June 16).The court further instructed the
