Cab driver held for issuing forged 2-BHK allotment orders
The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force and Moghalpura police arrested a 27-year-old cab driver for allegedly cheating more than 50 people by issuing forged allotment orders for double bedroom flats under the Telangana government’s 2-BHK Dignity Housing Scheme.The accused was identified as Syed Salman, a resident of Salala at Barkas, Chandrayangutta. Police seized 52 forged allotment documents and a mobile phone from his possession.According to the police, Salman studied till SSC before dropping out due to financial difficulties. He later worked at MeeSeva centres and as a helper at a private school at Kishanbagh, where he came into contact with school in-charge, Asma Sultana.Police said that Salman falsely claimed that he had influential contacts in the Collector’s office who could secure
