Businesses urged to treat AI as a strategic capability, not just a cost-cutting tool

Speaking at the 2026 Ghana AI Summit and Awards, Edward Aikins, Associate Director, Technology and Transformation, Deloitte, said while many organisations have embraced AI to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs, only a few are leveraging the technology to fundamentally transform their business models and create lasting value.
