Bus driver who dragged cabbie clinging to doors in road rage attack sentenced
McGill’s driver Daniel Smith, 35, has avoided jail after driving off with taxi driver George Meek, 67, clinging to his bus doors in Glasgow’s Hillington, leaving the cabbie with broken bones. Smith was convicted of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and assault, and was handed unpaid work, supervision and a driving ban instead of a prison sentence.
