Burglars broke into the jewellery store be removing exhaust fan fitted to a rear door and enlarging the opening | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT Burglars broke into a jewellery shop in Chandanagar, Ranga Reddy district, during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday (August 1, 2026) and decamped with around 7 tolas of gold ornaments and 4 kg of silver, police said.The theft took place at Balaji Jewellery Shop, owned by Nookala Shiva Shankar, within the limits of the Chandanagar police station.According to the police, the unidentified miscreants gained entry into the shop by removing an exhaust fan fitted to a rear door and enlarging the opening.
