BSNL to upgrade 690 towers to 4G in Mysuru region, rolls out I-Day offers

BSNL is set to strengthen rural connectivity in the Mysuru Business Area, with 690 mobile towers across Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu districts planned for upgradation to 4G services.Announcing the initiatives ahead of Independence Day, BSNL Mysuru Business Area General Manager Rajendra Kumar Singh said more than 90% of the 76 villages identified as uncovered under the 4G Saturation Project had already been provided indigenous 4G services.He said the services had been installed and made operational using 100% indigenous technology developed under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.BSNL has also announced a series of promotional offers for consumers.
