BRS faults A.P. official’s ‘letter’ to KRMB on Telangana’s water share
HYDERABADThe Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has questioned the propriety of Engineer-in-Chief (Irrigation) of Andhra Pradesh reportedly addressing a letter to the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) asking it to allocate only 30% of water to Telangana in the Basin.Speaking to newspersons here on Saturday, former Minister V. Srinivas Goud sought to know what rights the AP-ENC has to write about Telangana’s water share, even if it is ad hoc.Stating that AP was diverting huge quantities of Krishna water from Srisailam through systems such as Pothireddypadu Head Regulator, Handri-Neeva lift and K.C.
