Browns waive TE Dae’Quan Wright, expected to join Lane Kiffin and LSU

The Cleveland Browns have waived tight end Dae’Quan Wright, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. If he clears waivers without being picked up, Wright has an agreement in place for the 2026 season to play for LSU, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.This is NFL history as Wright is the first player who recorded stats in the league before then going back to play in college.
