• On 14 and 26 June 2026, Ukraine struck the Novomoskovsk Azot Chemical Plant in Russia with uncrewed aerial systems. The plant is approximately 350km from the Russia-Ukraine border. Analysis of commercial satellite imagery from 16 June 2026 and 30 June 2026 identified damage to the plant, which included the forced draft coolers, the pipeline, a storage building and support infrastructure. Furthermore, damage to the transformer yard of the adjacent power plant, 2.5 km east of the chemical plant’s primary infrastructure, was also identified.
