Brick wall smashed to rescue orphaned fox cubs stuck between two houses

Firefighters smashed through bricks on a garage wall in Leicester after the 12-week-old cubs became wedged between two walls on Easter Sunday this year. Rescue teams were called to Letchworth Road after receiving reports from residents in the area saying they could hear a fox crying in distress. Crews then found the three cubs lodged in a six inch (15cm) gap and lifted them to safety.
