Brazil to see up to 127 days of extreme heat per year by 2075
Climate projections from i4sea indicate that Brazil will experience up to 127 days of extreme heat per year by 2075, up from the current six days.
To arrive at this result, i4sea applied more than 26 global climate models to Brazilian territory – including the MPI-ESM1-2-HR model from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology – and hyperlocalized the results for a time horizon extending to 2075.
