Boy, 17, gunned down in Austin

Police are looking for the person responsible for fatally shooting a 17-year-old boy in the Austin neighborhood Friday morning. The teen, whose name has not been released, was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head about 9:15 a.m. in the 4900 block of West Washington Boulevard, police said. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police, and no arrests have been made. Area 4 detectives are investigating.
