NewsGreater Manchester NewsGlossopOfficers carried out a 'pre-planned' warrant in the area11:30, 03 Sep 2026A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of a terrorism offence in Glossop.Officers from Counter Terrorism Police East Midlands swarmed the Simmondley area this morning (September 3) as they carried out a 'pre-planned' warrant. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large police presence on Simmondley New Road.Police said the teenage boy was arrested amid the raid.
