Boy, 10, walking round all Scottish pro football grounds in honour of late mother
A youngster is walking round every professional football ground in Scotland in memory of his late mother for charity.Jacob McDonald, 10, of Dundee, is walking round the 42 pitches to raise money for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust in honour of his mother, Vivienne, who died of the condition when Jacob was just 18 months old.Vivienne, who was just a few weeks away from turning 33, was diagnosed at 28.Jacob has dubbed the challenge Jacob’s Ground Journeys, and it will see him and his father, Kenny McDonald, travel more than 6,000 miles from Ross County to Stranraer with all the various stops in between.The duo have so far completed 18 football grounds, including Celtic, Rangers, St Mirren and Dundee’s grounds.Jacob said: “It’s been so much fun so far.
