Bomb Disposal Operation at Rivne Police Station Kills 1, Injures 3

A 47-year-old police bomb technician was killed and three officers were injured in an explosion at a police department in Rivne, western Ukraine, on Monday, Aug. 31. According to Rivne region police, the State Bureau of Investigation opened a criminal case as authorities work to determine what caused the blast.
