Bodies of two men swept away by swollen rivers in Kannur recovered after three-day search

The bodies of two men who were swept away by swollen rivers in Kannur during the recent heavy rain were recovered on Tuesday (August 4) after a three-day search operation.The body of V.H. Hanifa, who went missing after being swept away by the Kanhirapuzha river at Irrity, was found around 200 metres downstream of the Kanhirapuzha bridge. Police and Revenue officials completed the inquest before shifting the body to the Thalassery General Hospital for post-mortem.The body of R.
