Blue Jays' Shane Bieber goes through every pitcher's nightmare
Shane Bieber lived out a pitcher's nightmare on Tuesday night in the nation's capital against the Washington Nationals. The Toronto Blue Jays' right-handed pitcher didn't make it out of the first inning. He walked six of the nine batters he faced.Three of Bieber's walks came with the bases loaded, and it was his career-worst for walks in a start."I have no excuses," Bieber told reporters after the game. "I have to find a way to get out of that first inning. Dry my hands off and change shirts and eat up innings after that. That's what I was trying to do and unfortunately, I wasn't able to. I don't think I've ever had anything like that happen."Bieber threw 42 pitches on the night. Just 15 of them were strikes. His nine batters went like this:WalkGroundoutWalkInfield singleRBI walkRBI walkSacr
