Blue Jays predicted to add Tigers first-pick, but it isn’t Tarik Skubal
Sitting at 42-48 on the season, the Toronto Blue Jays are still 11.5 games out in the American League East. However, with the American League Wild Card still being in the mix for Toronto, there's a real expectation that the front office will make the necessary moves at this year's trade deadline to improve on both sides of the baseball. The Blue Jays, who have been derailed by injuries throughout the season, have some tough decisions to make. There's no debate that, as things currently stand, this organization has to get better on the mound. The problem for Toronto is that if it goes out to make a trade for any of the more expensive starters in baseball, there is going to be a major price that has to be paid for that.
