‘BLOs should explain contents of notices’
Officers working on preparation of electoral rolls in Telangana were directed on Wednesday to prepare and implement a detailed, time-bound action plan based on ‘Anomalies’ and ‘No Mapping’ cases. It should include generation and distribution of notices to electors and other crucial activities which are part of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls -2026 in the State. District Election Officers (DEOs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) have to include hearings and verification of documents, timely disposal of claims and objections in the plan.
