BJP to launch nationwide ‘Samrasata Sankalp Abhiyan’ on July 29

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a nationwide ‘Samrasata Sankalp Abhiyan’ from July 29, 2026, to February 20, 2027, to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas Maharaj and promote his ideals of equality, social justice and social harmony.In a press release on Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh BJP Media In-charge Dileep Kilaru described Sant Ravidas as one of the foremost reformers of the Bhakti movement, whose teachings challenged caste discrimination and upheld human dignity, compassion and devotion.
